JINGJIANG NANYANG SHIPYARD is located at Jingxin Beach, City of Jingjiang and established in April 2005. It has approximately 1000 employees, including engineers, technicians & qualifies welders who have the expertise and abilities for delivering quality vessels to western standards. The type of vessels built include various types of ocean going tug, supply vessels, accommodation derrick barge as well as flat top deck cargo barge with the yearly production capacity of close to 100,000 tons where all are complying with International Classification requirements and with the satisfactory of the Clients.
The yard where situated alongside the Yangtze River covers an land area of approximately 280,000m2 and water front on Yangtze River of approx. 600m. For construction of ship, most of the major equipment will be supplied from approved makers overseas and shipped to China for installation. Any major equipment built under license in China will be supported by the authentic license related to the equipment supply.
The current shipyard facilities we have are as follows:
One automatic steel line, 2 sets of numerical control flare-up cut machine & one set of numerical control plasma cutting machine
One 200 tons & one set of 630 tons oil compressor and one set of three-core roller
Slipway No. 1 – 32m x 120m with 2 nos. of 50 Ton gantry cranes
Slipway No. 2 – 42m x 100m with 1 no. of 45 Ton crane
Slipway No. 3 – 53m x 200m with 1 no. of 100 Ton gantry crane and use of Slipway No. 2’s 45 Ton crane
Fabrication facility next to Slipway No. 3 of 370m x 70m size where it facility includes sand blasting machine, fully automatic cutting machine, bending & rolling machine.
Waterfront on Yangtze River of approx. 600m long with water depth of approx. 10m
Outfitting jetty pontoon connected to bridge to yard of 90m x 15m size with fixed crane of 20 Ton and 1 mobile crane of 20 Ton
With the expansion of business in the Marine Industry, Jingjiang Nanyang Shipyard has been constantly upgrading and expanding its’ yard facilities in order to service the orders from International Clients with bigger and more sophisticated vessels.
Other than Jingjiang Nanyang Shipyard, we also build our Vessels in other shipyard likes Wuxi Shipyard, Beng Bu Shen Zhou Shipyard, Nantong Tiannan, and Nantong Tongde in China as well as East Malaysia Shipyards.
In general, for construction of ship be it at Jingjiang Nanyang, Wuxi Shipyard, Beng Bu Shipyard or any other Shipyards, most of the major equipment will be supplied from approved makers overseas and shipped to China for installation. Any major equipment built under license in China will be supported by the authentic license related to the equipment supply.
In summary, the general standard of outfitting is maintained very high to give a high quality finish comparable to the standard of Singapore shipyards. Electrical fixtures and fittings are selected to suit the operators’ local availability.
